In 1964 several families attending The First Christian Church of Lower Bucks (Disciples of Christ) had become dissatisfied with many ideas and beliefs of the Church. A meeting was held with 16 members of the congregation on July 24th 1964 with the purpose of possibly starting a New Testament Church in the Levittown area.  The outcome of the meeting was the begining of Levittown Church of Christ, later to be renamed Levittown Christian Church on August 13th 1987.  The new church met on Sunday, July 26th 1964 for their first worship service.  They met in the home of Marilyn and Elwin Milnes and continued at various other members houses and rented spaces.  With the assistance of Go Ye Chapel Mission, Levittown Church of Christ purchased the property at 1481 Frosty Hollow Rd in Levittown PA on July 10th 1966.  Built from the ground up by the members of the church and volunteers, Levittown Church of Christ opened there doors after 3 years on July 2nd 1967.  The congregation has served the community for 59 years, focused on teaching, sharing the word of God, and baptizing new believers so they can Know God and be saved.
