The Book
Revelation 3:5
“The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my father and before his angels.”
In another passage found in Exodus, God says that those who have sinned against Him would be blot out of His book (Exodus 32:33). Other passages refer to a book that is Gods”. That is a “book of life.”
God has a book. It’s a special book. A book of life. There’s all kinds of books; Fiction, Non-Fiction, Mysteries, Cookbooks, How To’s, Business, Childrens, etc. The Book of Life belongs to God.
Is it a Book with pages? Is it digital? Is it a Library? There are many opinions on what that book exactly is. However, the facts we do have is this; Names are included, and names are blotted out. It is also evident in Scripture that there is a pathway to having your name in that book. Accepting Christ is that condition for existing in that living book. Praise the Lord!
